Nominations are now being accepted for the Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards, and you are encouraged to participate.
Every day, colleagues across the campus inspire us with their incredible talent, passion and commitment. This University-wide awards program is an opportunity to publicly recognize outstanding teaching, significant scholarly and artistic contributions, and dedication to furthering the mission of our University.
Nominations are due by Monday, February 2, 2026, 4:30 p.m.

Recognition
A Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards Recognition reception will be hosted by the Chancellor each year. In addition, the award recipients will be invited to attend the May Commencement where they will be recognized by the Chancellor.
An individual may not receive the same award more than one time over his/her career at SIU Carbondale.
NOTE: Awards received may be subject to Federal and State taxes as required by law.
